Gregory Levine: A NYC native, Gregory is complex,swashbuckling and boyishly raffish. He has written and performed in revues including the 2012Canuck Cabaret (thanks, Paul!); Alter Ego Vaudeville Surreal; Carnivale; TheTrachtenburg Variety Show; and Gemini & Scorpio's Masquerade Macabre. Onthe verge of being typecast, he appeared as the charmingly embittered, drunken,egomaniacal failed 18th-century reformer Valentine Hauy in Dr. M.Leona Godin’s “The Spectator & the Blind Man” (2013 Frigid Festival). Heco-produced, co-wrote and co-hosted with Dr. Godin the massive variety/cabaret"Lord Gregory and Mademoiselle Godin's Mini Xmas Spectacular" for the2012 miniFRIDGE Theater Festival. He played the roles of Baker in "PhilipGlass Buys a Loaf of Bread" and Milton the Literary Chimp in "Words,Words, Words" (both in "A Random Evening of David Ives"); andSatan in "Genghis Khan vs. a Velociraptor." Other theatricaltriumphs include 18th century fop Lord Sebastian: the Original 1% at"Occupy Comedy" and Santa Claus in the satire "To Catch a Predator:Christmas Special." And if these accolades aren't enough, Gregory directsthe monthly news-and-politics comedy show, "The Skinny with PeterDeGiglio."
