Once again , Horse TRADE is honored to bring you FRIGID New York - the first stop on the 2008 North American Fringe Circuit. FRIGID New York is proudly produced in association with San Francisco 's EXIT Theatre (home of the San Francisco Fringe; the second oldest fringe in the USA).

Morgan Lindsey Tachco (Founding Artistic Producer) is currently an administrator in Arts in Education with Brooklyn Arts Council, a freelance theatrical publicist, the New York Innovative Theatre Awards' Outreach Manager, and works as an actress & theatre artist. Founding Artistic Producer of the FRIGID New York festival.  Named, "People of the Year, 2007" nytheatre.com. 2007's FRIGID Festival produced  two new published works. As artistic producer/producing director, programmed Horse Trade Theater Group's 10th anniversary season, resulting in three published works. On stage, Morgan has been working with the fantastic ensemble of the Beggars Group, recently appeared in At Hand Theatre's CAKE & PLAYS... at the Gene Frankel Theatre, and WE CALL HER BENNY at the Michael Weller Theatre, of which Martin Denton (nytheatre.com)  remarked, "particularly good work." Duncan Pflaster of broadwayworld.com said of her performance in WE CALL HER BENNY, "Morgan Lindsey Tachco is touching as Mrs. Boyd...as well as Gaby..." Of DUMBYA'S RAPTURE, Larry Kunofsky of nytheatre.com remarked,"...I saw a real human being in this play rather than a caricature..." Attracted to theater festivals because of the beautiful chaotic people and energy they expose, Mr.Sturges was technical director of the New York International Fringe Festival, designed the lights for 100 shows in two summers for "Gone in 60 secs," a festival of one-minute plays, discovered the joy of kissing his electrics crew every morning at the Istanbul International Theater Festival, designed a short in the New York Clown Festival, was an electrician for the Voice4Vision Puppet Theater Festival, and did something for some other festivals he's forgotten about.  Mr.Sturges works as a lighting designer with numerous companies, a stage manager (most notably with the New York Downtown Clown Revue), a stagehand at the Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts, and is a model.

Erez has joyfully dedicated the last eight years of his life to creating an entirely self sustaining off-off-Broadway theater company in New York City.
His educational history includes a BA in Jewish and Religious studies with a minor in comparative religion from the University of Minnesota, a semester at Oxford, and a never to be quite completed Masters Degree in Talmud and Rabbinics from JTS. He is a licensed fireguard, Handsom Cab Driver, sprinkler systems inspector, flame proofing Supervisor and wedding ceremony officiant.
His multi-faceted, hands-on management style and accessibility have helped to firmly establish Horse Trade's reputation in the downtown theater scene and to create a well respected, self sufficient organization that has created and continues to create a home for some the New York City 's most innovative, talented and hard working theater artists.
He is proud to open our doors to so many visiting artists during FRIGID New York.

Ashley King

Ashley is so happy to be a part of the 2008 New York Frigid Fest. A graduate of Marymount Manhattan College, Ashley has performed as actress, singer, pianist, and exceptional office temp in various venues throughout NYC, and her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. She is currently working on a new cabaret/ comedy show with her friend and collaborator Greg Portz, and is writing her first children's musical about pigeons. Big thanks to the gang at Horse Trade Theater Group for giving her such a "cool" opportunity.

Born and bred in Perth, Western Australia, Julie is a theatrical jack-of-all-trades. Recent projects in New York include: The Man in the Black Suit for Ardea Arts at PS 122 (Assistant Stage Manager); Serenade for Jaradoa Theatre at La Tea (Propsmaster, Dresser); New York Musical Theatre Festival 2007 (Arts Management Intern); and, French Woods Festival 2007
(Assistant Director). Julie also writes and performs. This is her first year at the Frigid Festival.

Mark is thrilled to be working with FRIGID this year. A graduate of AMDA and the New School University with a BFA in musical theatre he has been seen performing in numerous regional and NYC stage productions. In addition, he works as a composer (18 years piano), singer, voice over actor and mosaic artist. Most recently, he co-wrote, composed and produced the award winning Show Choir! The Musical at the 2007 New York International Fringe Festival which received a four star rating in Time Out New York Magazine.

JESSICA V. URTECHO(Technician): Ms. Urtecho is a freelance production stage manager and audio visual technican based in New York City. Her focus is on music and live multimedia productions. Previously, Ms. Urtecho was a regular AV technican at Columbia University where she had the honor to provide services for distinguished world leaders, CEOs and celebrities.
In the beginning of her career, Ms. Urtecho joined CUNY-TV and MediaSete Television Station (Milan, It) as a Production Assistant, focusing on televison production. Since returning to New York in 2000 she has worked extensively in New York City theatre, stage managing and serving as an assistant director in over 50 Off-Broadway and Off-Off Broadway shows. Ms. Urtecho’s experience includes classical theater, dance, opera, rock opera, musicals, concerts, conferences and fashion shows.
Ms. Urtecho has a bachelor’s degree in Theater Directing and Televison Production and two minors in Film and Romance Languages from Hunter College CUNY. She also studied Theater (Grotowski, Kantor and Commedia Dell’Arte) and Renaissance history  at The University of Pavia in Italy.  Selected companies: The Immediate Theater, Horse Trade Theater Group, The Gallery Players, The Spanish Repertory Theater, Cannery Works, MultiStages and Steenstein Productions.
Her next project is the production stage managing of The Judas Tree by Mary Fengar Gail. Produced by MultiStages and opening on April 26, 2008.
