Ms. Ward is an engaging and endearing performer, not to mention talented and professional. Her show should resonate with twenty-something and thirty-something audiences. It certainly did with these parents of thirty-somethings! We both enjoyed it.

That said, the subject is not new (I know, I know, what is?), and although there were several poignantly funny, and LOL moments (we especially enjoyed the Back to the Future boyfriends bit), the material was insufficiently innovative and lacked edginess. When Ms. Wars says she wants to meet everyone else's expectations, we felt that she was pulling her punches with her material in order to do just that.

We genuinely liked this show, but we really wanted to like it more!
