Mike G-yohanne

Mike has acted for both stage and film in toronto and now has made the move to NYC to pursue his acting career. He is currently studying with Stuart Burney @ Black Nexxus school. Keep your eye out for this new and explosive talent

Cara Ricketts

Cara Ricketts was named on the top ten theatre artists of 2006 by NOW magazine and the top Emerging artist by Birdland theatre. She has worked with Joseph Pierre on several occasions: recently in a reading of Noah’s Rainbow at Equity, this past Summerworks in his piece titled Hip Hop: Who Stole the Soul, and Born Ready playing Peggy Sue. Other credits include: Saint Monica in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Birdland Theatre), Rayzee in Smokescreen (Roseneath Theatre), Titiana/ hippolita in A Midsummer Nights Dream (Resurgence), Sistah 3 in Steal Away home (Africanadian Playwright festival)

Joseph Jomo Pierre

Trinidadian born. Scarborough (Toronto) raised. Joseph is a graduate of York University with a BFA in acting. Produced work include Born Ready , Pusha-Man, and Hip-Hop (Who Stole the Soul). His first collection of plays entitled; BeatDown: three plays by Joseph Jomo Pierre, is published by Playwrights Canada Press. He has acted for both stage and screen, and can be currently seen as “Edward Forrest” on Intelligence for the CBC television network.
