When Brent Hirose graduated from the Honors Theatre & Film Program at the University of Winnipeg he missed his convocation to take a vacation in New York. He's thrilled to be coming back in order to remount his Winnipeg Fringe Festival hit Jesus Christ, I'm Sorry. Brent is a frequent face in the vibrant Winnipeg theatre scene: Over the past 4 years he's been involved in over 20 plays, highlights including productions of Miss Saigon, Lanford Wilson's Book of Days and most recently Tom Stoppard's Arcadia. He is currently preparing to direct a workshop with his theatre company Theatre By the River and is in the process of writing two new shows which he will also perform for the '07 Winnipeg Fringe. When he's not acting, directing or writing he's usually sleeping, although that doesn't happen too much these days. Check out his various projects on the web at yous.iscrappy.com. |
