Diversey Harbor, a funny and ruthless ghost story, explores finding your place and losing your innocence at the same time through monologues by four characters in Chicago--all the while unfolding the mystery of the unseen woman who brings them together

Annie Coburn
Annie Coburn (Director): Annie Coburn is absolutely delighted to be working on DIVERSEY HARBOR. Since graduating from Oberlin College in 2001, she has directed "Alice," a four-minute short film that can be seen at www.youtube.com/anmatcoburn, "Love and Israel," which went to the Midtown International Theater Festival, assistant directed "Missing Celia Rose" at the Summer Play Festival at Theater Row, "Snow on the Stand," "Saying Kaddish With My Sister," and "Have a Nice Day" at the American Theater of Actors, "Love's Doorstep," at the Producers' Club, and "References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot" at the Red Room. She also attended the William Esper Studio, studying with Suzanne Esper, and is the artistic assistant at Obie award-winning Hourglass Group. As ever, she thanks Adam Zeller.

Dana Berger

Dana Berger (GRACE) is a graduate of LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts in NYC and has a  B.A. in Theater Studies from Duke University.  Most recently she appeared in the premiere of Washing Machine (Fist in the Pocket), a solo-performance in which she played 8 characters.  Past roles include Hilary in Fallen  (NY Theatre Experiment), Austin  in Roadside, Maryland (2006 NY International Fringe Festival),  Karen in the world premiere of Don DeLillo's Mao II and   Dunyasha in The Cherry Orchard.  


Dorien Makhloghi
Dorien Makhloghi (DENNIS) graduated from Skidmore College with a BS in theater.  While there he performed in "Three Sisters" (Solyony), "The Shape of Things" (Philip), "Macbeth" (Macduff), "The Balcony" (Roger), and "Museum" (The Guard), among others.  He has since appeared in "Wit" (Jason) and "I Hate Hamlet" (Andrew) with Saratoga's Home Made Theater, "Laughing Stock" (Tyler) with Curtain Call Theatre in Latham, and "The Tempest" (Sebastian) and "Much Ado About Nothing" (Don John) with the Saratoga Shakespeare Company.  In New York City he performed in "Cafe Antarsia" (Mangas) at the HERE Arts Center, and will be in a retelling of "As You Like It" with the Dark Lady Players this spring.

Avery Pearson

Avery Pearson (JAMES) is thrilled to be a part of Marisa Wegrzyn's DIVERSEY HARBOR.  He is a proud Actor-Member of both The New York Playwrights Lab (Israel Horovitz, Artistic Director) & The Bridge Theatre Company.  Off-Broadway Premiere Credits: Thomas in James Lapine's GOODNIGHT, SISTER (Cherry Lane Theater), Jason in THE HUNT FOR TREASURE (The Abingdon Theater), Announcer in Leslie Lee's MINA (La Mama).  Additional Theatrical Credits: Steve Cook's performance piece DEVOUT (The Harold Clurman Theater Festival), Rabbi Perl in SOUL SEARCHING: A ROCK MUSICAL (45th Street Theater), Louis Pescatore in DEN OF THIEVES (Stella Adler Studio), Tim in RICH DADDY (Theatre Row), Blaise de Francaux in THE PERSON I ONCE WAS (Rita Wallach-Morgenthau Theater), Octavius in JULIUS CAESAR (Cazalet Theater) in Montreal, Canada.  Avery is from Toronto, Canada and a Neighborhood Playhouse Graduate.


Amanda Sayle
Amanda Sayle (STEPHANIE) studied acting at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, and since then has appeared in plays produced by such companies as Les Freres Corbusier and Coyote REP, in the Midtown International Theatre Festival, and in films ranging from small, student productions to a big VH1 extravaganza.

Jaimie Mayer
Producer
Jaimie runs her own production company, Don't Eat The Pictures Productions. Theatre producing credits include: The Scariest (45Bleecker/The Exchange), The Boy in The Bathroom (45th Street Theater/NYMF, NYMF Award for Most Promising New Musical, Best Book, Best Overall Design, and Best Individual Performance), Love Kills (45th Street Theater/NYMF), New Voices Playwrights Showcase (DR2), Broadway Idol (New World Stages/NYMF), It's a Hit! (Village Theatre/fringeNYC), Indio (Tamarind Gallery), Women's Work (The Women's Project). She is the Lead Producer on the feature film ARMLESS, currently in pre-production, and just wrapped her first feature, REDHOOK. Jaimie has served as Associate Producer at The New York Musical Theater Festival and Women's Expressive Theater, and as the Artistic Associate at The Women's Project. She has worked at The Public, Classic Stage Company, and The Long Wharf, among others. Commercially, she has worked for Mandy Patinkin In Concert and The Araca Group, where she worked on the Broadway productions of Wedding Singer, Wicked, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Jaimie holds a BA in Theatre from Connecticut College and certificates from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Atlantic Theater School, and Trinity/LaMaMa. She is within arms length of graduating from Columbia University's School of The Arts with an MFA in Theatre Management and Producing.
