With a quick wit, a showmans flair, and a few simple items some paperback books, pad and pencil, and of course some volunteers Rory seems to accomplish the impossible. Attributing his abilities to a knowledge of psychology, theater, a trained memory, and a few other things he is less specific about, Raven remains a skeptic when it comes to the paranormal. I've never seen anyone who I thought was really psychic I've met many who thought they were, but I've never been convinced, he says with his usual sardonic chuckle. Extrasensory Perception (ESP) is a fascinating idea to consider, and you don't have to be a believer to enjoy this show, any more than you must believe the actor onstage is really a melancholy Danish prince to get caught up in that experience. Hopefully, by the end of the show, people will be wondering about what they've just experienced, and maybe unable to quite make up their minds! |
Rory Raven has been Nominated for “Best Performance Artist” by the Providence Phoenix in 2008.

Rory has toured this interactive mind reading show throughout the Northeast and as far away as Istanbul, reading minds in Turkish. He remains skeptical of psychic phenomena, but finds the possibilities fascinating. To see the show is to become a participant, as not everything is a test of Rorys abilities, but often yours as well. |
